Adventurous LOTRO video - Eastwest goes bumping (pt.2)

Ingame LOTRO FRAPS video features Eastwest performing more aero-nautical wonders. Used are: the roof of the Staddle Weapon, Armour Shop - as the veritable paddling pool for his top-notch front stroke.

Eastwest ends up bumping his head on a door frame - ouch.
Folks, do not try this at home, please.

Keep in mind it was released back in 2006 - that's just a LOTRO collector's item by now :)

Just wanted to let you guys know that the "new" video is actually old footage that was never intended for release; it's not representative of the game in its current state at all. LOTRO plays very very differently now than is shown in that video.

Announcing the Availability of the LOTRO In-game Movies for Download!
Many of our players are missing the in-game movies which can be viewed at character creation, when transitioning from the newbie areas to the persistent world, and so on.

If you don't currently have the movies, you can now download and install them. If you're not sure whether you already have them, a simple test is to click on "Play Movie" in character creation - if nothing happens, you don't have them. The download is approximately 500Mb.

my pal told me that he has pre-oredered for £24.99. does he need to buy the retail one aswell? it says that full game client is on dvd disk included...

I believe that you have to pay $9.95 monthly, or you can pay $199 for a life time. the beta is active, I do play it now, so what can I say - it's a lot of fun. LOTRO is up there with the best, including WoW.

There are PLENTY of quests, and they are fun - you'll never be bored. Get a higher end graphics card, then nice cpu and decent ram (say, 1 GB) - graphics is amazing. I would definitely try this game if I were you.
