I always thought it would be so cool to play a hero in LOTR on a computer game, but all of the games so far have been poor, movie tie-in rip offs, without much depth. This on the other hand looks like it might fulfill my expectations. Roll on 24 April

Author runs one of the arc story quests in Midgewater Marshes.
This LOTRO video features how Reniolind fails to complete the script, stopping Amdir from performing his actions to complete the story.
Player was able to find the next NPC (that's Aragorn, IIRC) in the storyline in Bree.
That's a good example of gameplay.
Note the torch and sword overlaid in the same hand on Reniolind.
