LOTRO items for sale

I've got few LotRO items for sale.

Well, question what to do with excess items arises every so often, and I spotted an interesting discussion on this matter, here is a quick summary:

What you guys do with all your loot? I have every slot full plus the storage (will not pay the absurd amount to increase storage space) I have put 10 items on sale (that’s all you can put at once on sale?) but still no sale, trust me they are real cheap but still no sale, I’m thinking in three things :

1 – Start a Guild to just support Noobs, thus given the items to them, for free of course.

2 – I had enough of all this crap, will destroy the excess baggage.

3 – Ok guys, party time, give away all excess crap.

4 - sell to NPC merchant, at least I make some Gold.

Well, there is another option. Since you can create total of 3 characters on the same server, you can create 2 more characters to be used as extra storage. The number of items that you can put on sale will be 30, and you will also increase your storage slots by an additional 128.

So, in total, you create 158 free slots for yourself!

If its normal/green armour or a weapon sell it to the merchant.

Only keep or sell green armour if it has good enough stats to be used for PvP (i.e 4 slots 3% skill block+). Rare weapons also sell as they lack the stats to be good enough to use for anyone.

Most uniques sell to the merchant to unless yet again the stats are good there are loads of uniques that just sit there on the AH and not sell if you need gold fast merchant it otherwise even sell them on AH for 3 times the price of the merchant and someone will buy it to try and make a profit.

I personally only sell stones on the AH unless my gear is up for sale which the guild dont need as selling a couple of stones is enough gold for me to gain a level or do what i need to do.

Tutorial: How to play lotro songs yourself. Lotro music numbers are easy!

Lotro music numbers are easy - you can learn how to play instruments in Lord of The Rings Online, too.

This list of LotRO music was posted in the "LOTRO song compilation" thread.
Read this and get to play lotro songs yourself, too.

This uses Psomm's keymapping:

QWERTYUI = Note 1 thru 8 (This is the low octave C to C)
ASDFGHJK = Note 17 thru 24 (This is the high octave C to C)
123 = Note 9,10,11 (This is low B and low octave black keys C# and D#)
567 = Note 13,14,15 (this is low octave F#, G#, and A#)

I believe (though I've not tried it yet) that you can use the utility made by "House Of Dexter" to remap these lists to other mapping formats. (see the post from March 14th)

All of the numbers within the parenthesis preceeded by an "s" means hold down the shift key while playing them. Basically all notes in this song are done using the shift key except for the low 5 which is played without holding anything down. All "pairs" denoted by a #+# should be played at the same time, ei. 1+3 would be played by hitting the 1 and the 3 keys at the same time (yes while holding shift in this compilation). A simpler version of this song can be played by simple dropping the first number in each pair and playing the second. Example, to play a simple version of 1+3, drop the one and play only the 3. Also, I like to play the final note s1 as s1+3 because it sounds nicer.

A bit of info on LotRO instruments macro.
Author plays Lute on his Elf Minstrel during Beta.
He used some macros, done with Anvil Studio, GlovePie, and LOTRO Music Converter.

Here is quick how to play lute in LotRO
(or general hints on how to play instruments in lotro):

Best way to play instrument in LotRO is rebind Keys. Default notes stays on 12345678. Now when holding Ctrl with 12345678 instead rebind to QWERTYUI .. and For SHIFT 12345678 rebind to ASDFGHJK . Now you can play with 2 hands and have all the octaves without fukin Holding Down Shift and Ctrl. Hope it helps.
- Awesome,I can play Mario-theme,O fortuna,Star Wars dark side-theme and Mission Impossible theme on my lute =)
- Are the system specs required to run fairly high? Nope, you just buy the instrument (save up 20s for a lute haha), learn the skill, and you can play. lotro music numbers are easy - use 1-8 shift 1-8 and ctrl 1-8.

LOTRO In-game Movies for Download

As announced at LOTRO forums re lotro movie:

Announcing the Availability of the LOTRO In-game Movies for Download!
Many of our players are missing the in-game movies which can be viewed at character creation, when transitioning from the newbie areas to the persistent world, and so on.

If you don't currently have the movies, you can now download and install them. If you're not sure whether you already have them, a simple test is to click on "Play Movie" in character creation - if nothing happens, you don't have them. The download is approximately 500Mb.

To hear tones, press 1 to 8.
Shift key will make it one octave higher.
press Ctrl - and it will make it half a step lower.
Takes some time to get acquinted though.

I feel that this truly epic intro from "Lord Of the Rings Online" is superior to original WoW intro. hands down, it's damn classy. nonetheless, it sure looks like a decent play.
